From 1905 to 2010,the study of ZHENG Xuan＇s Yi-ology has experienced three stages,in which including sticking to the traditional approach to research the Classics,also introducing western-learning thought and methods,and modern acdemic system,thought and method became the leading role in the study. It is a miniature of the modernization of traditional Chinese acdemic. It enriched the viewing angles and approaches of the study of ZHENG Xuan＇s Yi-ology objectively,revealed and upgraded the content of the study. This was reflected through the process and the characteristics of the study development. However,there are debate on comprehensive learning and proficient mastering,the diversity between classical and modern acdemic thought etc. There are many aspcets to focus on and introspect in guiding ideology,acdemic method and so on.
