Sm0.5Sr0.5Co1-xMoxO3-δ(0≤x≤0. 5) ceramics were prepared by tape casting and solid state reaction.The effect of Mo6+doping on the crystal structure,optical properties,and electrical conductivity of Sm0.5Sr0.5CoO3-δwas investigated.Results showed that the main structure of the samples was orthorhombic perovskite phase,while new phase SrCo0. 5 Mo0. 5 O3 and SrMoO4 was detected separately at x≥0. 1. The solar absorbance and emissivity of the samples increased with the increment of Mo6+concentration,but the spectral selectivity decreased. Both the room temperature and temperature dependent electrical conductivity of the samples decreased upon the substitution of Mo6+ because the incorporated Mo6+reduced the amount of the Co3+?O?Co4+ unit and hindered the double exchange reaction between them. Moreover,the successive conductive path was blocked by the generated SrCo0. 5 Mo0. 5 O3 and SrMoO4 as well.The emissivity,which showed the opposite trend with electrical conductivity,had a close relationship with the conductivity.
