As a main purpose, the verification techniques of the stall recovery parachute by the drop model test are introduced for ARJ21-700 aircraft. The test preparations including the test design, the model assembly and the ground tests are introduced. Then, the determinations processes of the main parameters of the stall recovery parachute are presented for the full scale aircraft and for the model. At last, the selected optimum parameters combination has been verified by the drop model test. As a conclusion of the test, when the control are located at neutral positions, the aircraft can be recovered quickly from deep stall condition by using the stall recovery parachute and this is very useful to support the airworthiness certification test for ARJ21-700 aircraft.
